We typically review applications within 5–7 business days. If you are selected for interviews, you’ll receive an email to book your interview times.

The internship covers key teaching skills such as classroom management, vocabulary building, reading instruction, grammar and phonics teaching, student engagement strategies, lesson planning, using online platforms like ClassIn and Zoom, and building a professional teaching brand.

Q2: Will I receive the full curriculum?
Yes! After submitting your internship application, the full detailed curriculum will be emailed directly to you. It outlines the modules, topics, skills, and activities you’ll complete during the program.

Q3: How is the training delivered?
Training is delivered through a combination of:

  • Live instructor-led sessions (scheduled between 7:30–11:00 AM GMT+2, Mon–Fri)

  • Self-paced video tutorials and assignments

  • Practical teaching tasks and real classroom practice

Q4: How much time should I set aside each week?
Interns typically commit between 5–8.5+ hours per week, including live sessions, homework, practical tasks, and paid teaching practice if assigned.
(See the chart “How You’ll Spend Your Week During the Internship” for a full breakdown.)

Q5: Is training every day?
No, live sessions are not scheduled every day. However, you must keep 7:30–11:00 AM (GMT+2) Monday–Friday available for any training sessions that are booked during the program.

Q6: What platforms will I learn to teach on?
Interns will receive hands-on training on ClassIn, Zoom, and Google Meet — the top platforms used for delivering online English classes globally.

Q1: What equipment do I need to join the internship?
You must have a reliable laptop or desktop computer, a functioning webcam, a working microphone, and a stable internet connection. Mobile devices are not suitable for teaching practice.

Q2: What are the minimum system requirements?

  • Operating System: Windows 7 or higher, macOS 10.12 or higher

  • Processor: Intel i3 or equivalent (i5 or higher recommended)

  • Zoom (for meetings and live training)

  • Google Meet (for some collaborative projects)

Q4: What happens if my equipment doesn’t meet the requirements?
If your equipment or internet connection is not stable enough, it may affect your participation and performance in live sessions and teaching practice. We strongly recommend meeting or exceeding the minimum specs to ensure smooth progress through the program.

Q5: Do I need to install anything before starting?
Yes. Before beginning your live training sessions, you will need to install:

  • ClassIn (desktop version recommended)

  • Zoom

  • Google Chrome or another modern browser

Setup instructions will be provided during your onboarding session.

Achievements

Q1: Will I receive a certificate after completing the internship?
Yes. Interns who successfully complete the full program will receive an accredited certificate from Happy Teachers Academy recognizing their training and teaching practice.

Q2: Are the certificates officially accredited?
Yes. Our certificates are professionally issued and can be used to strengthen your teaching portfolio when applying for teaching jobs or freelance opportunities.

Q3: What other achievements will I earn?
In addition to your certificate, you will also earn:

  • Accredited digital badges (for each milestone achieved)

  • A professional Training Video Resume showing your skills and teaching experience

  • Real classroom demo recordings and training materials you helped create

Q4: How is the Training Video Resume different from a regular CV?
Instead of just listing skills on paper, your Training Video Resume will visually demonstrate your real teaching abilities, classroom techniques, and participation in projects — making it far more powerful and attractive to schools, parents, and companies.

Q5: How do I access my certificates and badges?
Upon completion, your certificates and badges will be issued digitally and shared with you via email. They can also be added to your HTA profile if you choose to continue participating in our programs or community.

Creative Projects allow interns to collaborate with the Teacher Creatives Team to design video tutorials, lesson demos, training resources, and other educational content for the HTA community.

Q2: Do I have to join the creative projects?
Participation is encouraged but optional. However, joining gives you valuable experience in content creation, teamwork, and portfolio building — and makes your internship profile stand out even more.

Q3: What kind of content would I help create?
Depending on the project, you may help with:

  • Recording sample teaching videos

  • Creating tutorial or reaction videos

  • Assisting in developing self-study course content

  • Collaborating on educational podcasts or video series

Q4: Will my work be credited?
Yes! If your content is published on the HTA platform, your contributions will be credited where appropriate — helping you build your teaching and creative resume.

Q5: How do I join the Teacher Creatives Team?
After completing the initial phases of your training, you’ll be invited to join creative projects based on your performance, interest, and availability. Specific project opportunities will be announced during the program.
